Welcome To The Tattooed Gent

The Tattooed Gent is a tattoo and body piercing studio based in Birmingham, on Erdington’s high street. Our resident tattoo artist Steve (@sacredboldlines) specialises in traditional and pattern work with over 20 years experience.

Matt our professional body piercer (@mattclarkepiercing) has been in the industry since 2017. He has worked in various locations around the UK and works to the highest standards in jewellery quality and hygiene adhering to the UKAPP standards (@safepiercing).

Chloe is our junior tattoo artist. She joined The Tattooed Gent at the tail end of 2023 and has settled in well, while continuing her learning and knowledge of tattooing. Chloe loves the old school traditional black work tattoo style while also doing fine line work.

Our goal is to create a safe space for everyone who is getting tattooed or having a piercing. We are proud members of Transfriend.ly and are always striving to make our studio as accessible as possible for everyone.

Based on the Erdington high street in Birmingham, we are near all main transport links from Birmingham New Street, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield. Erdington train station is a 2 minute walk away, along side several major bus routes. We have on road parking outside the studio and there are car parks nearby. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more information on transport.
